The Entrepreneurship Center Samobor (ECS) serves as a central point of support for entrepreneurs, startups, and innovators in Samobor and the broader Zagreb County area.
As the city’s entrepreneurial support institution, we create a strong, innovative, and connected environment in which ideas develop, businesses grow, and the local economy strengthens.
We offer entrepreneurs consulting, education, mentoring, and technical support in all stages of business development – from the first business idea to expanding into new markets.
We manage Mali Tehnopolis Samobor (MTS), a modern incubation center with office space, coworking, conference rooms, and technological equipment (3D printers, 3D scanners, etc.) that enables entrepreneurs to grow faster and access innovations.
Through more than 20 training courses per year, B2B meetings, incubation and virtual incubation programs, and specialized programs for startups, women entrepreneurs, and technological innovators – we build an entrepreneurial ecosystem that brings measurable results.

What do we do?
1) Incubation and development of entrepreneurship
At MTS, we provide entrepreneurs with:
- affordable rental of business space
- virtual incubation (registration of headquarters, mailbox)
- coworking and shared workspaces
- access to technological equipment (3D print, 3D scan)
- mentoring and advisory support
Our incubator is ideal for startups, innovative projects, and entrepreneurs in intensive growth.
2) Education and workshops for entrepreneurs
We organize more than 20 professional education courses annually in the areas of:
- business planning
- EU funds and preparation of project applications
- digital marketing, SEO, and social networks
- financial management and sales
- innovation and new technologies
The programs are intended for startups, small businesses, women entrepreneurs, students, and innovators.
3) EU funds and investment support
We provide entrepreneurs with:
- information on current tenders
- advice and support in developing project ideas
- assistance in preparing project applications
- connection with partners, investors, and consultants
From 2025, we are also establishing an EU Info Point — a central place for all information related to EU funding.
4) Networking and connecting
We organize professional and business events such as:
- MTS MeetUp meetings
- conferences and thematic panels
- events dedicated to women entrepreneurs
- panels connecting entrepreneurs and educational institutions

5) Projects for the development of entrepreneurship and innovation
We participate in and lead projects that improve local development:
- ICSE Science Factory (Horizon) — STEM and innovation for youth
- construction of a new Incubator II building
- construction of an MTS solar power plant
